Boonton Parks and Recreation, in conjunction with the Mayor’s Wellness Campaign, announces the Walk to Market Program 2010, designed to encourage physical activity. The first 100 people can get a free market bag during the Farmers Market opening day, Saturday, June 12 at 8:30 a.m. at the Parks and Recreation table at the top of Plane St. The Farmers Market offers fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, along with other snacks, desserts, and food items.
