Community leaders and local health professionals will take a stroll to kick off Mayor Maura DeNicola’s wellness campaign at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Franklin Lakes Community Center, 1 Vichiconti Way. The mission of the Mayors Wellness Campaign, sponsored by the New Jersey State League of Municipalities and the New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute, is to equip mayors with tools to develop and implement active-living initiatives in their communities. The campaign will culminate with a health fair in March.
