LINCOLN PARK NAMED NEW JERSEY “HEALTHY TOWN”
MORRIS COUNTY BOROUGH HONORED FOR PARTICIPATION
IN MAYORS WELLNESS CAMPAIGN
Lincoln Park – The town of Lincoln Park and its Mayor David Runfeldt, were honored today by the Mayors Wellness Campaign as the thirteenth community in the state to receive designation as a “New Jersey Healthy Town.” The mayor was presented with a sign to mark the occasion. Lincoln Park received the designation for its strong and active participation in the Mayors Wellness Campaign.
“We are thrilled to recognize the efforts of Mayor Runfeldt and Lincoln Park to promote active living and healthy lifestyles through the Mayors Wellness Campaign,” said Melissa Kostinas, Mayors Wellness Campaign Director. “Our statewide effort, which now involves more than half of all New Jersey towns, is really catching on.”
“I am so proud that Lincoln Park has been honored with the distinction of being a Mayors Wellness Campaign Healthy Town,” said Mayor Runfeldt. “Since 2007, our community has been very active in promoting wellness for all residents, and it is a credit to our citizens’ hard work that we receive this recognition.”
